2020 workshop series* dedicated to farmers and gardeners seeking more information and practice on Seed Production and as well as seeking real food cultivation of recipes for open pollinated varieties.
We are located 3 hours north from the Denver airport, or fly in to SB which is 2 miles from our farm and we can pick you up, or driving it is 45 min north of I80 at the Kimball Ne exit., email for directions to the farm.

Garden Workshops: First Sunday of April, May, and June from 3 to 5pm. RSVP required: subjects include greenhouse sowing, outside sowing, transplanting, organic weed and insect control, and composting with materials found around your home and neighborhood.

Visit Meadowlark Hearth fields and take in the latest blooms of our annual and biennial seed crops such as beets, kohlrabi, onions, and parsnips! Topics on seed covered include pollination, isolation requirements, and population size.
Eighth Annual Labor Day SEED FEST and Professional SEED WORKSHOP Sept 5-7
This course is designed for experienced growers and farmers but everyone interested in seedwork is welcome! We will focus on seed production techniques for many crops, learn how to initiate & carry out seed contracts and explain how to weave seedwork into a working farm, how to choose what to grow, and more! Come prepared with questions and expect many hands-on activities. You will also have the chance to see various small and mid-scale tools used in seed production. Free camping available Saturday through Monday. Email to reserve a spot!
