We emphasize the care and rearing of biennial seed crops; carrots\, brassicas\, beets\, etc. \nArrive ready to plant! \nVegetable families class\nSaturday July 13 from 3-5 pm \nTour the fields of Meadowlark Hearth and admire the blooms of our annual and biennial seed crops including carrots\, beets\, cabbage\, onions\, and parsnips! \nTopics include pollination\, isolation requirements\, and population size considerations. We will help you visualize trellising and seed work at your farm or garden. \nSeventh Annual SEEDFEST and Professional SEED WORKSHOP\nLabor Day Weekend: Friday August 30 – Monday Sept 2 \nDesigned for experienced growers but all are welcome!
